2007 NFL Prognostication Standings

* FINAL RESULTS *

In an historic upset, the Giants derailed the Patriots' Super Bowl express and ended their bid for perfection. The teams delivered one of the best Super Bowl games ever and certainly one of the closest, at 17-14. The lead changed three times in the fourth quarter alone, with the winning score coming with 0:35 seconds remaining. (Only Super Bowl XXIII had a later touchdown, with the famous Montana-to-Taylor TD pass coming with 0:34 on the clock.) Eli became the second consecutive Manning to win the Super Bowl MVP award, and Bill Belichick became the first Super Bowl coach to leave the field before the end of the game. At least the Patriots can now legitimately claim to be the best team ever to lose the Super Bowl.
